The major benefit from Painter over other digital painting software will be the great assortment of natural medium brushes. These are brushes that mimic the feel of traditional art media for example oil, acrylic, watercolor, airbrush, pencil, charcoal, pastels, etc. In addition, there are a few non-traditional brushes for instance Hurricane and Shatter that can establish some very unique and bizarre effects.

Ill follow a minor comparison between Painter and Photoshop because thats where most on the dilemmas exists for new buyers.
Corel Painter vs Photoshop.
Thats a matter that many folk have. If youre a professional or number of years user, maybe you already have a favourite and this review and my words are irrelevant. If youre new towards the industry you probably have some decisions to generate. As someone who owns and uses both products, heres some information within the hope itll help in making better decision:
Photoshop - - To me Photoshop is definitely predominantly an image editing program for photographic professionals whose work product looks being a real life picture. Its intended for photographic pros who have a huge workload and deadlines to satisfy. Photoshop automates or streamlines complex but routine photographic manipulations. Thank you to your feedback.Im not used to Corel Painter, so Im still learning and finding features. And Im still being surprised.
At the minute Im mostly doing photo art, along with years Ive used Photoshop and a couple of other programs to the purpose. I always considered that I was attempting to cram a square peg in a round hole. I see now Ive been while using wrong tool. Photoshop is great for photo corrections-everything from exposure and white balance and batch processing to removing that stray garbage bag through the formal wedding photos oops-but to get more creative work, Ive been wrestling by using it rather than working from it. I should have saved Photoshop for your realistic work and tried Painter for your creative stuff.
Adapting to Corels workspace has become relatively easy. Icons obviously arent exactly a similar as Adobes, but similar functions have similar icons and therefore are easy enough to discover. Actually, I find Corels workspace being a much more intuitive than Photoshop, which is really a little surprising in my opinion. And functions and features which can be new if you ask me have kept me amused and inspired for any month, and I havent explored them yet.
Brushes alone are incredible, therefore far Ive always found a brush to accomplish what I need to try and do, superior to I imagined. Particle brushes are intriguing, notable and distracting-its challenging to get things done if you're playing using the particle brushes and I think that for random-ish natural effects theyll become more useful than I thought initially. Flow maps add depth of control that Ive never imagined to hope for. Blenders a variety of and varied and might be adjusted. Im not entirely very pleased with them but I suspect I just havent established how to complete what I need to accomplish yet, and Ill make it with more time. Read more
