Ive not had the contests others have expressed using this program. My first experience was with version 2 that was bundled with my Wacom tablet. After with it for a while I was hooked and upgraded to version 3. With a tablet this software is very intuitive, unlike Photoshop CS2 and Illustrator CS2, and produces wonderful results. Ive never liked dealing with digital media up to now.
A tablet is crucial to getting the most out with the program.

I purchased this device to use being a drawing instrument. It worked great for that first three times I put on the extender. After that it begun to crash each and every time I engaged something/anything. I was told it turned out the result of your corrupt report. I created a fresh user profile and yes it worked 3 times and bam! It started crashing again. Corel won't refund money for just a product not purchased straight from them and I had this product just for enough time so that I cant receive a refund from your place I purchased it. BEWARE and get quite sure. Dont increase the risk for same mistake I made. I wasted money I could have used with a program which could have worked.

Id been waiting for your WACOM/Painter program to get a long time. I are unsure HOW I did without them. That being previously stated, I liked Painter Essentials 2 and 3. But 3 glitched once inside a while, when I got a different Dell PC with Vista, Vista wouldnt get it. You should go to Wacom co. to download a patch so Vista would accept 3. Dont bother. If you've Windows ME, XP or any other OS, you cannot need one and also the software may or may well not give you problems. Since then Ive traded around Painter far more control and much more brushes to learn with than Essentials, which had been merely the bottom in the bucket in the time. Good for scribblers and beginning painters. I began to make out/edit the top art of my well being, and I started art around 2-3 years.

But if you desire horse power and realistic tools like Colored Pencil, Conte, Watercolor, Chalk, Crayon, Image Hoses and Oil Paint, dont go with Essentials. The difference is striking on performance. While this supplement would probably do well on one on the newer MacBooks with 144MB of shared memory, it stuttered and was slow in my older MacBook. It flies in my and this is clearly due towards the graphics memory differences but not because of an moderate processor jump.
Id recommend anyone trying this new out from the box to sit over the tutorials car should be done to familiarize themselves using the interface - in my opinion, it turned out not initially intuitive.

Ive used previous versions of Painter, way back when. When my kiddo became serious about doing more difficult drawings than KidPix would support I immediately looked at Painter Essentials.
Amazon delivered the package quickly, and Ive spent the last two mornings utilizing Corel support trying to have the program to perform. Ive also spent yesteryear two mornings, during your hold, reading many comments online the painter factory, etc about people recently having troubles with Painter 11 and Painter Essentials 4 running - and stopping running if it ended up previously running.

I am not an artist, not computer savvy and used this product that has a mouse. And even operating those disclaimers I can tell you it turned out not very easy to use until I read the booklet and watched the tutorial. So I suggest you watch the tutorial videos that come by using it first. After slightly practice I was able to create paintings from photos mainly because it promised. This helps you to upload a photograph and basically paint over it. And expect to get able to enhance as I read more about all that the application has to offer as well as Practice. I cannot imagine how basic and useful this supplement would be using a tablet.
