Rather odd GUI and many features which don't work or are missing. Very strange considering Corel has now upgraded this course to the Service Pack 1 level.
Complete not enough support apart from paid premium with out user forum.
Let me start with saying that Im hot for several Corel programs, specifically Pant Shop Pro and Video Studio. Ive used both these for years purchasing many worthwhile upgrades along the route and for the most part have already been totally satisfied. That said, PDF Fusion must be one in the worst applications Ive seen from ANY developer in years!
For starters, many of of its key features just dont be effective. Importing Word or Excel files is not possible without disabling the programs integrated MS Office plugin. Rather youll should disable this feature and let Fusion import such files through its file reader which doesnt always support the original formatting. Also, it appears to be impossible to import a text file. Youll should find a approach to pre-convert it to word or pdf before Fusin need it. I also didnt just like the fact that when adding text, the written text background is white instead of transparent. The problem is, if you would like insert text on images or non-editable objects, the white background box covers a portion of whatever is behind it. In its favor Ill admit that it appears to execute a decent job of importing image and pdf files. From what Ive noticed in surfing for reviews in this application you can find surely a number of other problems including installation issues in some instances.
