This program really does work with Windows 7, even though you may need to work with Windows XP compatibility mode. The only function I cannot get moving is the html text objects, which I do miss. I may install the Windows XP mode on my own computer to solve this concern, though compatibility mode is a great one to get all from the other features to figure just fine.

Its the blu ray spec that will need video for being downscaled for output to anything apart from HDMI. All software and payers will do the identical.

Mike, this can be just videos player NOT an editor. To give this place star for something which is not said ANYWHERE it's supposed to complete what you are wanting it to accomplish is more an expression of your failure, not WinDVDs failure, a brief between the chair as well as the keyboard as they say.
Trialware plays Blu-Ray, Retail doesn t. Beware!!!
Trialware may play Blu-Ray with a standard Vga connection monitor with no problem. The retail version doesnt and pops up with an error stating it detected Analog Output. Adding the SlySoft AnyDvd Hd plugin will trick it into playing blu-ray but this costs 163;55 and defeats the aim. Corel support was absolutely terrible using the usual answers, keep track of patches drivers, maybe you've checked the knowledgebase?, etc. Then no response after the week of badgering for the answer. In the end I brought forward my decision to acquire a new monitor with DVI output and it also worked immediately. But this really is still a con, trialware should reflect a timed version from the final product, not a thing that cons you into buying its bigger sibling.
Once working this product does the position although Im sure you'll find better applications around. They just can be expensive more.
