You do be aware that it is just not Garrys mod. Things that are CNet Installer enabled also have toolbars and things bundled using them. It is just not the developers fault.
I completed every one of the instructions and re-entered the app id. i even downloaded SDK source engine, 2006, 2007. but whenever i strive to access the overall game it says couldn't load library client. I have little idea what i did wrong i would just like to play the action.

this guide seemed helpful and I followed the steps you provided exactly but gmod will not be appearing inside my games list. There was an oversight message that appeared following the installation from the mod with this page nevertheless it couldn't detect steam. I do possess a steam account and it's also installed on my pc but I believe this could be the reason for doing this not working.
