The time it takes will depend on your computer, the download on Ares was 7 hours for me personally, but you may leave it open while your and not on home or whilst you do anything else, however it is worth waiting

after you download the newest server list, you should open your conter-strike folder and navigate to the platform folder, after which the config folder. If somewhy you'll be able to t view the folders just add /platform/config with the adress bar, and paste the brand new server list there.
