I are already trying to load the most recent fp3.2 with no success. I keep obtaining the error Some installation files are corrupt. Please download a new copy and retry set up .. Are you freaking kidding me? Why on Gods planet might you make SP1 a pre-req for SP2 and PULL SP1! How are the type of us on RTM and SP0 designed to get to SP3? This is in regards to the dummest thing Ive seen a software company do around my 25 years in this particular business.

Up to Crystal Reports 2008, very little. Other than the larger the number, a lot more recent the item. With CR 2008, we have a very pretty good logic to your numbering system. Lets take version 12.1.2.957.12 is version of CR 2008.1 lets us know this is Service Pack 1,.2 informs us this is Fix Pack 1.2 placed onto top of Service Pack 1. The last three of four years old digits - which ever - not important. So as another example, if I have version 12.3.1.684, I know I am using CR 2008, Service Pack 3, Fix Pack 3.1.
Fix Packs are let go of after a Service Pack. Fix Packs are certainly not as tried and tested as Service Packs. Fix Packs are rolled into subsequent Service Packs, yet not all Fix Packs come in a particular Service Pack. Earlier versions of CR really are a bit trickier. ; to my knowledge, there is just not one page enabling you to go and locate all information on a per SP or FP bases. In some cases the documentation is definitely available through the Business Objects Support Software Downloads webpage, so check there. I tried to setup this version, however it seems to function as incremental build, not the total build. I get a communication saying Crystal Reports 2008 SP6 Update can't install considering that the version with the product for the system is just too low.

I installed downloaded Crystal Reports 2008 SP6 on Win Server 2012 OS environment.

As the Crystal Reports 2008 downloads weren't visible using my SAP user ID because our licence wouldn't include support or maintenance, I followed the steps below:
1 Rang up SAP support and raised an incident verbally, that also required a followup email to your licence wouldn't allow us to raise one while using SAP Support Portal. This resulted within a response letting us understand that our licence failed to come with any support or maintenance.
2 I then rang up SAP support again and simultaneously replied towards the person whod emailed me back about our licence, asking how we can easily buy a licence to reach the Crystal Reports 2008 downloads.
3 The lady whod told us about our licence then contacted a telesales person, who emailed me directly with a url to the file with a SAP box.

My company is currently along the way of moving to Windows 8, and according towards the SAP Crystal Reports 2008 SP6 for Windows - Supported Platforms document we must upgrade our own Crystal Report 2008 SP3 installs to SP6. We do not employ a support contract that I can find, and so, am unable to log to the Service Marketplace to download the specified updates.
