CyberLink Media Suite 12 bundles many powerful media tools into one unified solution, including PowerDVD for playing DVD and Blu-ray discs, PowerProducer for media authoring, PowerDirector for HD video editing, and MediaShow for managing your entire media. Media Suite also edits audio, burns and copies discs, backs up data, and fashions labels. While it's just not cheap, it is not too expensive, either, particularly if considering exactly what packs when compared with similar media packages.
All-encompassing studio: Media Suites tools communicate to cover all of your media needs which enables it to serve as the core of the home media platform. For example, you may copy movies for a hard drive and view them on your own home media network.
Unified interface: Though you'll be able to access tools individually, Media Suites master interface let's select any function and after that choose from a menu of wizards for things we would like to do, like Play a Movie Disc or View Online Movie Info.
Cross-platform: You can create and manage media for portable devices with Media Suite, too. Recent updates include Windows 8 touchscreen compatibility.
Extras: Media Suite packs mobile apps, including Android versions of a few of its tools, and also some extras like YouCam apps.
Size: CyberLink Media Suite 12 is often a large download of compressed data that needs to be extracted, and installing all 12 bundled programs requires greater than 2GB of one's drive. If space is a concern for example, in the event you boot from an SSD, understand the headroom required.
While CyberLink Media Suite 12 costs just below 120 retail using a 30-day trial, it can be a bargain for many people users, particularly if you consider it packs not just some powerful media authoring and managing tools that already band together, however it can also replace component Blu-ray or DVD players in a house media system.
Editors note: This is really a review of the complete version of CyberLink Media Suite 12. The trial version is restricted to calendar month.
From CyberLink: CyberLink Media Suite would be the only product that fits all the digital media needs of users at one great value-price. Media Suite 13 is often a complete multimedia software collection, combining CyberLinks trusted, industry-leading software a single package using a unique, easy-to-use interface, at the fraction from the cost of purchasing individual software products. Media Suite 13 features three best-in-class media editing and playback applications - PowerDVD, PowerDirector, PhotoDirector, alongside trusted utility software Power2Go and MediaEspresso for disc burning and media conversion. Bringing all Media Suites programs together may be the unique PowerStarter launcher. PowerStarter comes with a single, task-based interface which allows users to file for the right software for that task to merely perform, and in addition makes it easy to control all Media Suite software updates and patches through one, easy-to-use screen that notifies users when relevant updates are for sale for download.
It will find and display your posts nicely.
It is often a sampling of program capability but to use each of the capability they advertise it as a having you have to spend more to upgrade the thing that was already sold for you as an ultimate package.
Do not discover this marketing con. They sell you an ultimate package which is nothing greater than a sampling of programs that you'll want to upgrade in the event you want to work with what they said you acquire.
Can not play Blu-Ray Movie until you pay for updates.
I bought the Blu-Ray player couple of years ago and it also worked fine. Now Im told I have to pay to get the software updated. I think thats totally wrong. My BluRay player attached on the television updates automatically and then for free.
I finally opted to simply click an annoying pop-up telling me to take an update with the PowerDVD function. It rendered my DVD player unusable. I tried to re-install the suite now the PowerDVD requests a CD installation code - - which isn't going to match the code to the suite. Attempted to uninstall your entire suite. It uninstalled everything except PowerDVD but understand this: the complete suite still works, eventhough it no longer shows around my programs. I attempted to utilize the Cyberlink uninstall utility to do the job and my virus program intercepted it as being a trojan horse virus and deleted it. This software carries a death grip on my hard disk drive and after several attempts for getting support from Cyberlink they bumped this to a higher-level. That was over three weeks ago and my follow-up attempts for updates have gone unanswered.
Media Suite behaves much more a cancer than legitimate software. I would avoid it at any expense.
Hmm, i want to think about that
CyberLink Media Suite 12 trial version came pre-loaded on my own Dell desktop. It doesnt do all it says it lets you do. It has annoying pop-ups. It asks many times wanting to upgrade on the same exact version however you simply cant click no; you should go through each prompt per program. No, No, No, No, s beyond China, Ive read where Norton and AVG acquired adware. I wont waste your time and effort but its annoying junk. Oh wait, its overpriced too so Ill refer to it junque.
Good programs but for getting the optimum use of each one you should buy the total version.
The entire Ultimate Bundle is usually a CON. The programs look really good but when you try to utilize the features beware Power2Go isn't going to RIP to MP3! in case you want this most commonly encountered RIP feature you know what, you will need to upgrade on the package as to what tech support say is the total version from the program. Strange since this is not mentioned in almost any of their promotional material that I might find, about this basis I paid my money and bought the suite looked much obviously is perfect for CyberLink as you need to splash out for more in the event you like this software. The whole suite concept can be a CON seek to contat them and yes it gets even tougher.
Avoid the suite find the applications you would like and do not be tempted through the marketing concerning this being one of the most complete 15 in 1 multimedia suite it definitly is just not, it's however probably the most incomplete.
Didn t do what I wanted, notwithstanding claims
None. For all I know, this is probably good software, in the event you hit the sweet spot of the its designed to do, nevertheless it didnt a single thing for me, so at the least for my use case there was no pros.
I was ready for software that could rip the audio off Blu Ray discs into separate MP3 tracks I like to tune in to concert Blu Rays in a car. Their website claims that they're going to rip Blu Rays but, at the least as far as I can tell, it'll only enable you to rip the entire audio-visual experience. Ripping the audio is undoubtedly a small subtask of the whole ball of wax, but they also dont manage to support it.
VLC will rip the audio from Blu Rays once youve got it using the services of Blu Ray in any way, but only united big block. DVDFab9 appeared doing what I wanted having a quirky UI and several bugs.
A 1.6GB install, and yes it still didnt do an apparently simple task.
Read hundreds of identical RAVE reviews!
Works, in a very limited fashion.
Reading the reviews using the demented grammar and numerous exclamation points is fun!!!!
Im prejudiced because it is the biggest bit of bloatware that included my new HP laptop. It is really a huge program and has now several automatic updates- anybody want a lot more automatic updates? Flashy GUI that is certainly actually quite poor to navigate and utilize for ordinary everyday stuff.
Its capabilities are surprisingly limed so far as audio. I find for my day-to-day needs that WMP as well as a couple components of freeware Any Audio Converter provide me plenty of power without the many garbage. 119, indeed. If youre about to do some heavy-duty audio/video editing the information using a real professional product anyway.
This combo set provides the many media software I need.
so many good software multi function package!
GooooooooooooooooooooooD!
This may be the burning software i'd prefer!
