It found my clients files after an accidental format of their hard disk - another recovery software found undertake and don't.
Cost 30 - other software was 73 without the need of refund for poor performance.
I had a disk drive that failed - Windows kept telling me it would have to be formatted before it might be used. I purchased PC3 depending on reviews like this, however when I ran this system it refused to obtain the drive! I could see it in Explorerit even were built with a drive letter assigned, appeared as a raw drive in Disk Management, but nothing in PC3. Reinstalled this software, hit rescan the disks a couple of times, rebooted more than once, still nothing.
Called up tech support, however they werent much help. Since I work throughout their support hours I couldnt be inside my computer, and in addition they refused to supply support unless I was physically within computer! They wouldnt even offer any suggestions besides to say it absolutely was unusual for PC3 not to see a drive that windows could. Of course they refused to refund my money, but Im not likely to take off daily from work to troubleshoot their software.
Downloaded the demo version of Zero Assumption Recovery also it had no trouble seeing the drive. Lesson learned.
