No drawing tools, to make even a simple rectangle.Basic shapes
Basically its exactly the same to be a PowerPoint, just with added video export and quizzes.
Its a software program meant for dummy who cant use more efficient application for better interactivity.
If its exclusively for simple animation, video tutorial or presentation with add-on quiz capability, put it to use.
Otherwise theres plenty better other tools available.
The financial resources are just not worth if you can put up with simple PowerPoint presentation.

This will not be an accurate review. Captivate 7 has nearly all in the features available which are listed beneath the cons. This user either doesn't need the full version installed or perhaps limited on their own knowledge of what the software program can do. I have been using Captivate for quite some time, and has now improved after some time. The functionality is much superior to PowerPoint.

Are you proclaiming that functionality that you just list under cons has become removed from 7 are able to do all that in 6 or possibly it which you didnt know how you can do those actions? Captivate is miles and miles beyond PowerPoint and more robust than any tool of that type. Not to mention that PowerPoint will not be SCORM compliant and doesnt publish HTML5. I have used Captivate professionally since Captivate 3 along with your review will not be helpful within the least.
