Hi, Im trying to set up Dell Studio 1535 Bios drivers from A02 to A06, however get error: Error! The BIOS update can't be performed, just because a valid ROM image file could hardly be found. If is it, because Windows 7 cant check out this driver?

Ed, the first A02 bios release to your Dell laptop was on 6/26/08. A03 was launched 7/7/08, and A05 was already released 7/31/08. The A06 version released 12/8/08. There havent been any bios versions released for Windows 7 to the laptop.
If A06 wont install, you'll be able to always try on the list of earlier versions from Dells site. But bios updates should simply be applied to address specific problems on the system. Dell lists all three with the bios updates to your 1535 as recommended, but not as critical.
This page Drivers and Downloads says to download the A06 bios update for your desktop, after which run it from the Windows or DOS environment per the listed instructions. If you cant run it from your DOS environment, you may always flash the bios in the Windows environment. The CD dsic won't eject from my Dell Studio 1555. This can be a slot-load drive-there isn't emergency pin hole for any paper clip, the eject command through the device manager menu will not likely work, nor does holding the eject button around the keyboard while powering up. The drive is really a whirring noise like its spinning, then every short while tries to eject the disc without results. Any sugestions?

hi guys, unfortunately i m not in a position to tell you how can this be happening but it can be appening in my opinion aswell.
some days ago my keyboard did start to go crazy, it hasn't been able anymore to differentiate g from v and many other letters, it looks like some keys were staying pushed, many keys were bust and sometimes the mouse pad didn t work neither. i quickly tryed to reboot it and on the start up it started beep like easily was keeping many keys pushed. now apart through the many beeps it does on the start up, plus some key wich gets stuck it truly is working pretty fine, on the other hand would wish to solve the keys and beeps problems. i don t know if your issue is the identical of yours, unfortunately the plug battery off and press the first turn on button for 30 secs didn't work.

Some XPS Models need Windows 7 drivers downloaded from Drivers Downloads. If you could have an XPS laptop check out the Drivers Downloads website, enter your merchandise tag number, and look to your webcam drivers underneath the header INPUT.

I just installed this on the Dell Mini 910 with Windows 7 Retail Version, 32bit or 64bit. All work all right. The Vista Hardware Drivers work perfectly. In fact the Win7 install drivers are fantastic too. So my guess is this can be a Fix All Get it done way, for Dell PC s generally speaking.

I downloaded Dell Webcam Central on the link, but instead of version 2.4 or 2.0.46 i m stayed with version 1.40.37. Is there anyway to upgrade out of this? When I clicked the check out software update button, Creative Software AutoUpdate tells me how the latest versions already are installed.
