Why would the fact that you do not have GPS have the app useless? I still a good old map printed written in my car, and delay pills work really good, enough though it hasn't got GPS. Yeah sure it do not have a voice telling me the very best, however, if Im lost I just must discover me within the map with all the street names. HERE maps without GPS will be the same thing, but it is possible to do specific searches for street names, so no requirement to manually look for that street, and you could have a list of restaurants and stores near you you have to manually tell it where you stand. Its pretty cool I think.

I am using maps a lot and also the fact that I can now use maps offline is simply sweet.
Too bad the top pro does not have gps. I believe it uses the wifi to triangulate your approximate position. So, the offline maps wont be quite as useful if you're not linked to wifi.
The odd thing is here maps usually find the home compeltely accurately while bing maps is off a couple of both on wifi. GPS will be sweet, but I use maps mostly to locate customer locations and surroundings hotels, without needing navigation, so to me it is just not that big of any deal
