I bought and downloaded Ver. 3 on 9/13/12, your day it became available. It was terrible in the start with slow, unstable and erratic performance. The hardware and software was up to your task simply because this was on the new MacBook Pro Retina with Mountain Lion.

I believe that this technician hung up on me when he didnt possess a solution. I called back and ended up on extensive hold. Finally, after a lot more than an hour, I hung up.

I contacted Nuance tech support team to report the severe compatibility problem between Dragon Dictate 3.0 for Mac OS X and Microsoft Word 2008/2011. One user review made the statement paraphrased that Nuance clearly does not have any desire to make this supplement for Mac users really appealing it might be really appealing. Her statement made sense. However, as I became more informed about my MacBook Pro, I found theres a very obvious grounds for Nuance never to give a hoot about Dragon software for Mac. Mac possesses its own dictation software that may be built-in on the Mac. I used it with no instructions sufficient reason for no microphone! It didnt work perfectly I had no idea what are the commands were, but it appeared to be better than the other reviewers were describing Nuance Dragon software. So I explored my Mac software commands as well as so far, delicious.

I happen to be using Dragon products for around 10 years. I have extensive knowledge about several versions of Naturally Speaking for Windows. So Im not a new.
I was aware which the Mac version was should be less mature compared to Windows version, but wasn't prepared for my experience using the product which is always that its not less mature, its totally unusable. After installing and training it, it worked well for the couple of hours. The next day, and also on all subsequent days, its accuracy was a lesser amount of than it had been about the first day, and lower compared to the accuracy in the Windows version with all the same style of training. Even worse, it hangs, so that this microphone beeps and cant be restarted without restarting this system. This happens regularly, about every fifteen minutes. This is using a fast Macbook running Yosemite.

I was running Snow Leopard in this little 2008 MacBook. In 2014 I bought a whole new MacBook Air and that is running Mavericks. Dragon Dictate 2.0 hasn't been compatible together with the new operating-system so I upgraded to Dragon Dictate for Mac 4.0 Digital download through Amazon Digital services.

Its so accurate, its almost spooky. I think there can be a little court reporter having a StenoGraph machine within. I love the fact I can mix voice commands and clicks without my special tricks.
