Installing this method on a computer running Windows XP a HUGE problem. After installing Window increases the message that it will cause Windows for being unstable, knowning that Windows prevented the drivers from loading. The patch would not work, and support service comes with a resolution that needs editing your computers Registry, an activity I do not wish to attempt.

I used Adaptec Easy CD Creator since version 2.0
I just purchased CD DVD Burner fresh from Amazon. And now I discover its a Legacy product!
It doesnt recognize EITHER of my DVD burners, because both versions are MORE THAN 2 YEARS OLD with firmware updates. One is really a Toshiba, the opposite is a NEC.
I visited Tech Support at Roxio and started a ticket. It still will never be answered after a lot more than a 14 days. I have tried twice to Live Chat - no one can be obtained, though Im first within the que. There is no cell phone number for technical issues, just customer service. Loaded it on my own laptop. It says that your compatible device has not been found.
Went to website, downloaded patch. It said I had the newest patch already.
Everywhere you go within the roxio website, it tells you it is possible to upgrade to version 8 for 20 off. It still is in excess of 50 if Version 6 doesnt work, why would I throw more money on the problem?
I may find no usefull information for the website no way to talk to someone.
I took it back in Best Buy. They said they may only exchange it to the same little bit of junk. I wish I hadnt purchased this device. Once installed I was never able to uncover any in the features running because of one error after another lastly my computer froze or hungup, and I had to perform my computer in safe mode to obtain to this course and delete it, and run a rebuild to acquire my computer back in where that it was before the installation, as well as this, my computer boots much slower pc did before I installed this method. Wont even detect an mp4 on your own system. Cant burn MKV. Seems to only use WMV as well as then the quality sucks. Dont waste your cash on this junk. Read more
