I purchased Adaptec Easy CD Creator since version 2.0
I just purchased CD DVD Burner new from Amazon. And now I discover its a Legacy product!
It doesnt recognize EITHER of my DVD burners, which are MORE THAN 2 YEARS OLD with firmware updates. One can be a Toshiba, additional is a NEC.

Went to website, downloaded patch. It said I had the newest patch already.
Everywhere your going on the roxio website, it tells you you are able to upgrade to version 8 for 20 off. It still is greater than 50 if Version 6 doesnt work, why would I throw more money in the problem?
I found no usefull information about the website without way to speak with someone.
I took it returning to Best Buy. They said they are able to only exchange it for your same section of junk. I went next door to Staples and so they said if I bought software that doesn't work from their website, they will refund my money if I got it back within 2 weeks. So, I found a fresh source for software.

I wish I hadnt purchased this supplement. Once installed I was never able to dig up any from the features to own because of one error after another lastly my computer froze or hungup, and I had to own my computer in safe mode to get on the program and delete it, and after that run a rebuild to obtain my computer back in where it absolutely was before the installation, as well as this, my computer boots much slower personal computer did before I installed the program. After I installed Windows XP Home Edition in this little Dell 8200, I made a decision to update my 5.0 Basic edition on the Platinum edition. It appears to be working well after I installed it and it is patches. Easy CD Creator is junk software manufactured by a junk company. I guess theyve never read about beta testing because sad program is stuffed with so many bugs that it is unusable. Oh, of course, if you need to update your product, you should register! Sounds great Roxio! Avoid!
