I was created and raised within the city of Anoka, MN. I knew growing up two brothers, myself being the guts child. I use a yellow lab named Archie Bear. I spent time surviving in Nashville, TN, but moved back in Minnesota during the early 2014. I really like it here, in spite of terribly cold winters. Some things I most enjoy about residing in Minnesota include the outdoors, hunting, fishing, and being out within the water. I am also an enthusiastic Minnesota sports fan I m a glutton for punishment!
I began leading worship, producing worship services, and designing Christian multimedia in 2001. Back then, I remember my church was about the cutting edge, producing custom images being displayed behind every song. I put hours into photoshopping images together that are great for the lyrics. It was great. Then, in 2005, I was unveiled in Media Shout, and everything changed. At the time there simply weren t many resources in existence. Mostly clouds, nature and lightweight rays. So after weeks of prayer and video production, I started Motion Worship in 2006 with just 40 videos.
For four years, I reinvested the income to the business and began sponsoring missionary families. During this time I also worked in young adult ministry, and led worship at conferences through the Midwest with my band, Josiah Smith Band I ve had the fantastic honor and pleasure of partnering with Greg Speck on numerous occasions I love that guy.
In January 2010, I decided that I must give more to my growing subscriber base, so I prayerfully began having a small salary and dealing from home two days a week. God blessed this investment beyond my wildest imaginings. In 1 . 5 years, I was capable of double the volume of videos available for the site and vastly improve production quality. The standard Motion Worship license only covers display on the videos at one geographic location such being a church building. Videos should never be licensed royalty free and can't be used in a commercial for profit ventures. Editing is allowed for non-profit and then for display only. Before Motion Worship I used still pictures with the background behind my songs.
