FlipAlbum Standard allows users to arrange their pictures into realistic digital photo albums, but theres a learning curve involved plus some of the more useful features arent available unless you pay for an upgrade.
FlipAlbums interface is pretty plain and most with the space is devoted to viewing and creating albums. Before you are able to get started, though, you will need to supply your company name and e-mail address and wait for key to be shipped to you. Once thats covered, we advise you use the Quick Start wizard. The wizard allows you to choose a folder of images, pick a layout, and select a background theme. If you choose to skip the Wizard, expect you'll spend some time reading the Help file.
Users is capable of doing everything from adding multimedia and music files to make annotations for the photos, but some in the options are significantly less intuitive when they could be. It took us over expected to learn how to insert a picture into the album, that will be one with the programs simplest and obvious functions. Didnt see selection for putting FlipAlbums on portable devices - we have now two tablets; maybe that is certainly possible inside upgrade out of the box email distribution?
Well definitely worth the price free; good learning experience; delivers everything it promises; can just show albums to whoever is just about my computer; free edition is actually a trial edition made to make me want the paid edition - and personally it is working; I really want it to be.
