Wow. Are those this good?! I bought a Charge 2 when I went along to USA not too long ago and when I turned it on in the hotel room the quality of sound made me smile! Ive never heard such an excellent bluetooth box. You make your third generation of JBL boxes sound really amazing!
There undoubtedly are a few video comparisons available. The JBL charge 2 seems to get stronger bass as well as a warmer sound for it. The Xtreme is rated for 15 hours, which it can easily get indoor about mid-volume. One item that's complete low in 99.9% of discussions on blue tooth speaker technology would be the one thing UE has right, without other company is apparently interested in: stereo. Its fine to have a great sounding AM-transistor radio belting the tunes, but no matter what happened to 2-channel music? I know the all play stereo but two drivers 2 " apart isn't stereo. At least UE allows 2 units to get paired as floors me that hardly any other manufacturer addresses this, although there is and this mono stuff in existence see early 1960s British Invasion music, it isn't what most people tune in to. Im not married to my Megabooms, and require there was some competition around, but there's no way that essentially mono speaker out-plays two Megabooms setup L/R.
The only interesting thing to note around the controls could be the little hourglass-looking button, and that is used for JBL Connect. This allows two speakers that secure the feature to become paired together for stereo audio.
So only to add to this particular great write down and comment on your concern, I acquired two of those JBL Extremes yesterday plus the app does enable you to set it to L R stereo or Party. So your statement might not fact because believe me a couple of these PUMP!

Its been a lively time inside the studio having just finishing mixing PANDA BEARs new album TOMBOY. Panda Bear will be the sublime and transcendental side-project of ANIMAL COLLECTIVE member NOAH LENNOX as well as the intensely awaited new LP. will be from April 12th 2011
The worldwide release, within the bands own PAW TRACKS imprint, in the 50 minute eleven song album will feature completely new mixes and arrangements. The EP features two covers - Sonics re-worked version on the Red Crayola classic WAR SUCKS, and Laurie Andersons overlooked gem WALKING FALLING, plus two originals OVER OVER and RAZZLE DAZZLE MIND.
Between some tracks it covers the entire gamut of SPECTRUMs unique influential handle Pop, Psychedelia, Rock Experimental formats. Were just starting our full SPECTRUM band tour, reeling out old new Spectrum stuff on the present Indian Giver l.p back, together with mining the SPACEMEN 3 catalogue for a lot of old gem. Starting around the 20th sept in NYC with DeanBritta and winding up at the beginning of October around the west coast. The tour is only a few larger cities with return using a larger scale planned for buy. The band is sounding pretty fucking Im looking towards playing the stuff out again - audiences so far apparently agree.
Our recent shows with MBV at Sonic Cathedral were great and were rolling out after these shows to Paris, Copenhagen, Berlin throughout central Europe in November before some December shows in Blighty.
Other components of interest: CHEVAL SOMBRE - the NY state singer has released two new 7s, also available being a 7 clear vinyl lathe cut double pack - all from Static Caravan selling out in a rate of knots. Its created by featuring myself - Dean Wareham Britta Phillips Galaxie 500, Luna etc. also both get deep moody on various Cheval cuts.
A full lp is from Dean Warehams fresh label DoubleFeature the coming year recorded by Nick Kramer myself in New Jersey within the last few years. I obviously heartily recommend it - some folk say he's the vibe/sound comparable to Jasons earlier Spacemen 3 stuff. Reviews thus far have been fairly ecstatic as of this sleepy, drowsy soothingly poetic maiden voyage. Engineer Nick Kramer dealt with me around the DeanBritta sonic souvenirs remixes, section of which also sees re-issue as extra tracks within the new re-relieve their bench mark deleted debut LAvventura - also automatically DoubleFeature imprint.
