I initially gave this system a very negative review because I was having troubles with this program and was creating a hard time contacting Broderbund for assist with it. I was finally capable of make contact through email and was in a position to resolve the issues. It still loads slower than Version 15; nonetheless takes almost 20 seconds after this course opens before I can put it to use because from the Project Pickers slow loading. But it is an excellent program. I dont rate it any greater than 3 because if you ask me its not enough much better than Version 15 inside areas which can be important in my experience to rate the retail price theyre asking. I recommend having a go out first in the event you can before selecting. See should the features appeal to your interest enough to justify buying it. Printshop will not be good mainly because it was a Dos program. Version 6 crashed on a regular basis. Version 12 was buggy. Version 15 wont install on many systems. Now there is version 20. It keeps giving a fatal exception error after installing. Tried everything to have it to work. No joy!!!!!!!!!!! Support is virtually non existent. For the many money these are making they may do a greater job. Whats with the missing versions? They just arbitrarily assign a version number with it. They went from twelve to a few. What is Next? I guess will probably be version Thirty then Fifty in the rate they're going. The problem is considering the new features they add, they add as numerous bugs and crashes likewise. Do not buy many. Make Broderbund go away from business when they cant support their crap or make a much better product.

I was using version 12 and liked it enough. I reinstalled when I got a fresh computer which in fact had XP on it and yes it would not install, so I thought upgrading to your latest version would help. It did install, but the software program has more quirks as opposed to last one. It has somehow linked itself along with other programs and for that reason when I try to utilize my CD burning software or Legacy software a geneology program it wishes to open PrintShop first and considering how slow the offer is at opening that isnt pleasant. Ive reinstalled numerous times plus the problem hasnt gone away. I also find the offer more awkward in wanting to create such things as a simple minute card. If you may tolerate the annoyances like in case you delete the icon on the desktop it thinks it isnt installed then you definately might experience the features this method has, but personally I just now hopped online to seek out myself an application by some other company.

The entire PrintShop product line has its problems. Many bugs, and support issues. The first thing that annoyed me with PrintShop 20 was so it is nagware. in case you dont register its planning to ask you every now and then to register I think each and every time you boot, Im sure theres a hack to lose it. Also, if you OPEN a current project, it happens the new project creation wizard anyway, close to top of your brand-new project, and that means you just have to close away from that again, probably ways to hack this away from existence if you are bothered enough by it.
However! This could be the ONLY type of programs my mother may seem to get any use beyond. MS Publisher has program issues when it comes to ease of use and intuitive design. PrintShop lays every one of the main features out beneath your fingertips, turning it into pretty simple to generate what you wish.

I have owned PS 12, 15 20 and I like all. I have PrintMaster 11 and I like that at the same time but PS 20 made the right improvements. The improvement I like most could be the optimal print resolution helping to make fonts print far more smoothly. As for installation I have never had a difficulty with PS 20. I were built with a minor problem with PS 15 but every install of PS 20 went acceptable for me. I have done many projects with PS 20 from photos to christmas cards to brochures and many other things. I think its an incredible product and I use quite often

I agree while using first reviewer. I tried at the least 6 or 7 times and yes it wouldnt install. I also have XP and much more than enough space on the pc for the program. I am out 30 b/c I cant ask for a refund. I couldnt even discover a tech support phone.

I, unfortunately, own PSD No problems loading and utilizing with XP, but wish I had done more research before purchasing. I used it for business cards and brochures and after having a loooooonnnnng time on grip their support line was required to call the business office who offered me a LD number to call, determined that this course wont print past some margin edge width unless your printer will print full bleed meaning each of the way on the edge. All from the art and examples on their own box show everything printed the many way for the edge. Nowhere can it state that you've got to use a certain printer or special printer power to use it. So for the time being until I have the perfect time to do the research for the better alternative, my brochures and business cards can be a bit lopsided.
Otherwise, it's very easy enough to make use of. Wouldnt buy it again.

I bought this Print Shop from another retailer not Amazon, but after installing 3 different times, it merely didnt run in my PC. I have XP, enough gigabites of hardware and memory, it meets all of the system requirements but it just doesnt run. After conversing with Broaderbund tech support the telephone number was very difficult to discover and trying fixes, it didnt work along with the retailer offered me a hell when I returned it. Id buy any future PrintShop products as long as there is often a policy another, or trial first before choosing.
