I tried the download trial version in the Corel website. The direction are SPARSE, unsurprisingly, and SUPPORT in the trial is non-existant, but eventually, I was able to use the item to produce some gorgeous paintings. I used it in conjunction with effects from Adobe Photoshop Elements, and infrequently with Microsoft Photodraw. Just BEE-YOU-TEE-FULL! When I obtain a little extra extra cash, I may invest from the full product purchase, but leaning toward going all out with the Painter software. I think instructions would've helped me get going sooner - -you may check books out from the library- but I liked this course and think its worth utilizing. Yes, it turned out glitchy sometime, although not much, and of course not more than AdobePE 3.0. I did reload the trial version once, then again it worked fine. I cant complain-it absolutely was a thirty day Free trial from Corels website. Try it first-they provide you with that option with many different of their programs. You dont like it-dont buy it. All youve wasted is often a little time.
Thank you to your feedback.Ive not had the contests others have expressed using this type of program. My first experience was with version 2 which has been bundled with my Wacom tablet. After deploying it for a while I was hooked and upgraded to version 3. With a tablet the program is incredibly intuitive, unlike Photoshop CS2 and Illustrator CS2, and produces wonderful results. Ive never liked dealing with digital media as yet.
A tablet is important to getting the most out in the program.
Thank you for the feedback.I purchased this system to use as being a drawing instrument. It worked great for that first triple I put on the extender. After that it begun to crash anytime I made itself known yet something/anything. I was told it was the actual result of a corrupt shape. I created a different user profile and yes it worked 3 times and bam! It started crashing again. Corel is not going to refund money for the product not purchased from them and I had this product just for enough time so that I cant obtain a refund in the place I purchased it. BEWARE and never get this software. Dont have the same mistake I made. I wasted money I could have used with a program that might have worked.

CorelDraw Essentials was like receiving a vector program and also a bitmap program for example low price, but version 2 seems as being a downgrade, since the bitmap graphics part is greatly crippled. v2 still is the old but fairly stable CorelDraw 9, with many professional filters removed to reduce license fees. There is absolutely nothing wrong with v9 except it doesnt support Unicode just as v12.
But the not so good part on this updated Essentials 2 is they removed PhotoPaint 9 in the package, that has been useful for people that want to reduce bitmap editors like Photoshop Elements, etc. Whereas PhotoPaint would have been a fairly mature and stable program, the brand new photo organizer tools seem to have embarrassing reviews for unpolished interface. Hopefully CorelDraw Essentials 3 will add a reduced version of JASCs Paintshop Pro program, which Corel recently acquired. That will bring some balance to this amazing Essentials graphics package.
BTW, if anyone at Corel is scanning this, repackage the OSX version of CorelDraw 11 from the same way, to produce a CorelDraw Essentials for Mac. I suspect there is going to be a large industry for Mac Mini buyers looking for the cheap and robust vector program, and also cutting in a void in bitmap graphics before Apple makes their very own iApp for graphics design hobbyists.
