yes it lets you do play blu rays but but plays in poor picture.
when playing a blu ray whenever using windows 7 with full retail version you cant adjust the settings so far as typ of monitor you could have or large or it plays blu rays but plays them very poorly.i might not recommend whole process almost to nobody it flat out is crap

If you want hideously expensive splash screens, this program is designed for you. If you are one other 99.9% with the PC userbase that really expect a plan to launch once you buy it, dont waste your hard earned dollars.
Very clean interface that doesnt overwhelm you with lots of possibilities. It doesnt play the role of the all everything media player that others like PowerDVD appear to do. It just works.

I view a lot of people here who either do not know what theyre doing, dont learn how to read, or have really bad PCs which need a windows reinstall. Im with all the full retail version and delay pills work perfectly. Its not an editor figure out how to read buddy, its a relevant video player that can play blu-rays. If you want a decent blu-ray player for your household theater PC, that one works great over HDMI or DVI. By the way, when you honestly think a blu-ray may play over VGA in HD, you could have a lots of reading to accomplish. Heres an enormous hint. Look up HDMI and DRM. Im using Windows 7 64 bit all night . zero problems.

Its the blu ray spec that really needs video to become downscaled for output to anything apart from HDMI. All software and payers will perform the same.

I wanted to remove a symptom end of the home-made video. Apparently Corel WINDVD cant do this.

Mike, this really is just a movie player NOT an editor. To give this star for something is not said ANYWHERE that it's supposed to try and do what you are wanting it to accomplish is more an expression of your failure, not WinDVDs failure, a shorter between the chair plus the keyboard as they say.
Trialware plays Blu-Ray, Retail doesn t. Beware!!!
Trialware will have Blu-Ray over a standard Vga connection monitor without problem. The retail version doesnt and pops up with an error stating it detected Analog Output. Adding the SlySoft AnyDvd Hd plugin will trick it into playing blu-ray but this costs 163;55 and defeats the point. Corel support was absolutely terrible while using usual answers, get more patches drivers, have you ever checked the knowledgebase?, etc. Then no response from a week of badgering with an answer. In the end I brought forward my decision to obtain a new monitor with DVI output and yes it worked immediately. But it is still a con, trialware should reflect a timed version with the final product, not a thing that cons you into buying its bigger sibling.
Once working the merchandise does the position although Im sure you can find better applications available. They just can be expensive more.
You must utilize a monitor with DVI output for doing this to work and ensure your installed copy is updated with all the latest service pack v7.

Computer freezes after you try to view a DVD with Corel WinDVD. You cannot even get out with the application utilizing the task manager. The only option is always to force banned the computer and reboot. The application simply doesnt work.
Got version 10 to try out ONE blu-ray and yes it worked fine, but then it wont work any more.
Both version WinDVD Pro 10 and 11 possess some kind of issue and crash immediately on Splash Screen ahead of the program even starts. Have contacted customer service. Well determine if they can offer a few recommendations but I am doubtful because they havent fixed the problem from versions 10 to 11. I cant be the ONLY one experiencing this.
I want my money-back to buy an application that works. Im slapping myself for choosing two different versions on this program.
