Very disappointed with Quicken Essentials for Mac just received a Mac mini. I decided for getting CrossOver so I could run Quicken Premier for PC. Looked into creative options for running PC-based software but didnt want to buy Windows; CrossOver gave the look of a cost effective choice. No difficulty with installation and Quicken Premier is working well there is usually a delay for a couple of seconds while things wrap up but no obvious delays with all the Quicken. Had to convert and import my old Quicken files from my prehistoric G4 but everything came over as advertised. Will have to spend time correcting labeling and classification errors but all of the data is apparently there. Am contemplating running Word with CrossOver but am concerned this will slow things

However this software checks for updates automatically and anytime there is usually a new version WITHOUT WARNING YOU THAT YOU WILL LOSE YOUR LICENSED COPY.
