I just downloaded this application totally free today; I downloaded the free version from Amazon then downloaded the free full key app.
The program is actually fully unlocked and great. As for a couple of small things I noticed.
registering doesn't work when you initially try - - however I did find a method to register the program. Open up the approval and click within the settings icon inside the bottom right hand corner a sprocket icon. Select about, Now where it says unregistered click about the blue connect to register, it will now work - - it merely did to me.
Second, maybe a kindle fire thing. I installed the app and the fully unlocked key app. Unfortunately, I are in possession of two application icons for Documents to go into my apps section bookshelf. And its annoying, I would so would rather just have one icon. I tried removing one with the two icons, if I delete one with the icons this software goes back in the free locked version. If I delete additional icon this course isnt there and says to download the free version. Why cant I only need one pretty icon in my bookshelf. why. Amazon please fix this: or someone show how.

So, Amazon offers us two Office suites in as much weeks for Which is way better?
First coming from all, the install horked up my phone looking to get DtG to put in. Then when starting DtG, there have been a whole bunch of BS screens, license agreements, Please register along with us nonsense.
I quickly tested a few of my larger word/excel docs with both, and DtG choked about the very first one I opened. YMMV, but Quick Office opened EVERYTHING I threw in internet marketing. It was also considerably quicker to open a 40MB PDF. Both rendered fine, and I could easily zoom in with a parts diagram with good clarity. QO also experienced a more intuitive layout for things such as rotating the PDF to some readable orientation. Neither app remembered my place within the PDF file for even more reading. Disappointing. I should manage to quickly check an e-mail and get back to what I was doing inside a 265 page document.
Quick Office had much more features for utilizing my various online services for instance Dropbox. DtG may support Dropbox, but I couldnt find it, and after clicking around the wrong option once or twice and being inspired to buy reasonably limited upgrade, I got fed up with looking.

I am really disenchanted using this type of app. It is touted as being the standard for Android office apps, and, it's got such minimal functionality who's seems to be nothing but a glorified Notepad.

My Acer Iconia A500 tablet came which has a pre-installed version on the free Docs to Go. Unfortunataly this unlock secret is not that will work with that version. I purchased it without realizing this. When I contacted Amazon relating to this problem they issued a prompt and friendly refund.:-
I then purchased the right unlock key for Docs to travel from the Android Market which worked fine.
I prefer buying my apps from Amazon wherever possible so I hope compatiblity issues of the sort will probably be cleared up inside future.
