Trying to convert PDF to Adobe there have been so many errors, I could have typed it over completely from scratch faster! Plus once it installs and gets control as your main PDF reader, WATCH OUT! I too am possessing Error issue the real difference thought is the fact that I have Windows 7 Pro in my home pc also it installed on the perfectly. I am not trying to put in on Windows 8 at the office. It keeps giving me one saying that I have a corrupt Outlook PST file so it needs to switch the signal from make this work. I dont think it can be my OS. Will get back in ya after I research even more!

Youve also captured my experience exactly - CD packaged with NeatReceipts scanner, very same error messages and frustrations. I just purchased my NeatReceipts scanner yesterday December 05, 2012. I even tried copying the CD to some folder in this little hard drive and installing beyond this concept. Same problems.
Of course I blame Nuance, but I also blame The Neat Company. If you package something along with your product, it can be a part of your products. And if you arent ready to check it thoroughly, you might be negligent.
I didnt purchase anything from Nuance. I purchased of your stuff, Neat.
This may seem to support the problems Ive seen reported about Neat being sloppy in their own software releases - the need to continually retract them and asking customers to downgrade.
A better, more customer-focused competitor would need to rise up and challenge The Neat Company. They have a near monopoly within the market currently and its caused them to obtain flabby.

Their cust support response for me was ver 6 doesnt are employed in Windows 7. They want someone to buy ver 8 for 100. They wont honor the faulty ver 6 that included my NeatDesk Scanner that I bought via on July/12/2012.
