Customer service advised that if 30 days, reimbursement or to furnish me a non-defective program was out from the question.
The above just isn't the worst of the usb ports. The customer service is completely ridiculous. When you contact them they immediately say which the connection isn't good, they cant hear you and also to contact them back not for the toll-free number but, on the toll charge number. Ive sent several more emails and on the internet updates from the four days since that, but have experienced no response from support.
While reading other reviews this morning I came across references to Windows Voice Recognition. Id forgotten it existed and hadnt ever done it for years. Figured out the way to activate it on Win 7 and did took about a few minutes and it worked fine. Decided to attempt it on my small Asus netbook, to determine how it works with a lower-powered computer running Win 7 plus it worked fine there too. Perhaps not at the same time as DNS 11 is acceptable IF DNS 11 would work to me, but no less than it worked close to 100% recognition.
I chosen to uninstall and return the DNS 11 app to Amazon. This will be the first thing I have returned to Amazon and wasnt sure precisely what to expect.
