it slow pc performance. we've only core2duo 1.8 2cpu windows 7 2gb ram. i prefer eset for slow pc a few years ago but eset now consume more memory or processors resources.

It is a good AV! You can literally install AV, run scan, and do not open the UI window again unless you have to troubleshoot! Its basically set and tend to forget, the firewall is not difficult and obstructive, along with the AV updates and uses real-time behavior blocker. You can schedule scans, too.

I have owned Nod32 with the 3rd year and I just renewed my license. I tried Avira, Avast, GData and after that Nod32. Never a problem with Nod32 and running it on 2 PCs Vista and XP, plus in this little dads Win 8. Very light on resources. Tech support is very fast. I contacted them 3-4 times try to got a simple response. I dont understand complaints from some has also been great but so heavy.
Only cons I can think about is sometimes if this detects a menace, you'll need to delete it manually. But otherwise, thats all.

Well I finally googled it and located out if you usually do not use their uninstaller, you do not completely uninstall this trashy AV. Like a bad case from the clap still will loaf around your computer and conflict with another AV you try to put in. I had to attend ESETs websitesomething I vowed to prevent do again and go by using a very complicated procedure to finally understand piece of garbage off my computer. Thank our creator. Dont be fooled, steer clear, you're warned!!!!!!

It doesnt suck in any respect he just doesnt know very well what hes doing. his computer may well be screwed up and that he blames eset. besides unthreat and malwarebytes, eset is ok. one in the best ive used. im looking at it, that's rare because i dont purchase for them, i simply use free editions since they do all i need

Used in HK SG office. quit stable anti-virus, light-footprint all to easy to manage. never suffering from virus within these few years.
Been using many Antivirus software but none is a lot like ESET. The fastest and lightest out in the rest. No computer lags while running scans. Operating silently in private not disturbing me with pop-ups and irritating alerts. High real-time scanning wild viruses that others cant detect ESET can detect it! ESET is often my trusted Antivirus.
Nothing to dislike about ESET.

The interface is not hard and simple to navigate, and Im very delighted by how the software runs around my PCs background without the need for a great deal of its resources. Ive been using it for several years now and I havent had any complications with it.

It did often work well, but Ive used some free software which did the position. I thought I was safe on this product mainly because it blocked some things with its firewall but only detected 1 item in their daily virus scan in a very month, so I thought all was good until I noticed my PC reduce and acting strange so I uninstalled it and tried Avast. It scanned and discovered the SweetOrange which is an extremely risky virus. Avast needed to reboot my PC and take away The Compression Bomb, lucky before it opened and wrecked my PC altogether. Thanks a lot Eset! Never again.

First the download sucks. It damaged the older version. Messed with my Internet connection so I cannot get on line. Then I were forced to uninstall it. Once I was in a position to get the newer one installed it locked me out of all my internet websites. I try to locate help for the Eset page but navigating that mess just forced me to madder.
Dont make it better if its not broken. Adding bells and buzzers just makes this not work. The older one worked similar to it should and don't left me crazy.
