The realism on the paint is pushed well beyond reality. I have discovered that white and pale colors on the whole cannot be used over dark or intense ones. To apply higlights the white speck within the eye I have to build a new layer and paint into it.
Painting with a new layer means that i am unable to smudge or blend the pale colors using the dark underneath.
In other cases sixty opposite. I cant realise why the pastel a dry media covers the colors present for the canvas. One is never sure from the color you'll get.
