With the many computors dells that I have and a couple of previous older inspirons which I gave away to my children friends for christmas. I have had just one problem having a WLAN card, which I easily removed and called tech. support, and also the sent out a brand new card right even sent a tech to set up even though I said I was about to re-install myself.
Dells are wonderful computers, in case you dont let's face it, the very next time you go out shopping, to businesses, doctors office, ect. examine what computers they will use and I will bet that 90 percent are Dells. Nuff said!

I ve recently purchased an Inspirion 17/Win8 which sported FastAccess Facial recognition software installed.
FastAccess kept turning ON you and led and didn t allow me to observe when it was turning on or even fine tune if this was permitted to start using the digital camera and system resources. So immediately after emails with support from SensibleVision, and seeking the latest version was faster and featured - they wanted an upsell - I uninstalled it via Control Panel. It wasn t that fast - quicker to type inside a password, than should smile at the digital camera and wait.
However there still were some slivers of the usb ports around that I never located.
Now this morning, abruptly FastAccess shows up and wants to train again in this little face. Seems like Dell Digital Delivery has downloaded it again. I visit Dell Digital Delivery and yes it doesn t allow removing FastAccess and also a few other upsell items. So I ve uninstalled Dell Digital Delivery at the same time.
In every other place, something keeps installing itself and being annoying is termed a virus.
Am I missing anything I should uninstall to get rid in this viral software.

Delete the FastAccess installer files through the Dell Digital Delivery directory. This should stop the automatic reinstall behavior.
Note: ProgramData directory is hidden by Windows default.

Hi Brian- Yes, FastAccess will always appear as installed inside the Digital Delivery program. The software shouldnt automatically reinstall again, provided that the Digital Delivery program thinks it s still installed.

Me too. The only programs that I ever see on digital delivery are demos that I don t want and also have uninstalled so I guess it will do the trick. I saw that it is possible to install digital delivery again on the Dell site you need to. If there is something I buy from their store I guess I can re-install but inside the meantime I hope I don t must deal on this coming go back over and over and also over.

I ve attempted to uninstall playing with Control Panel Uninstall Programs, the only option you obtain when you select Fast Access is change. That doesn t do me high quality. I want to buy gone.
I attempted to follow the instructions given above about deleting it from your hidden ProgramData files for Dell Digital Delivery but there is however no folder there for Fast Access, limited to Dragon Assistant which though it hasn t bothered me yet, is my next target for uninstalling after I resolve this, b/c I hate the mess of needing programs I don t want.

This is exactly what I ve been told by Dell. You basically have two choices:
1. Assuming that you re while using Win7 upgrade DVDs offered by Dell, then you definately must run the next disc - the Dell Upgrade Assistant DUA - just before performing the Win7 update itself. After buying and downloading the software program, I installed it without problems. I use it to reach the laptop, later to reach my banks and bank card websites. I got the offer with a whole new computer- it seemed to be a fantastic idea. Unfortunatly, this software never truly learned my face- most access attempts required your password strength. Do not buy.
