Hi guys - newbe here. I happen to be using Avast 4.8 professional for yonks 4.8.1335 expiry 2018 and also have found it el-stupendo. Whats not documented about THIS edition is the fact when you run Malwarebytes manually, it handshakes with avast and in addition they BOTH examine the files. Whats annoying lately is the fact although it is a legal registered and purchased edition, I are already getting these daily pop-ups from Avast telling me my free edition is about to own out so register now. Firstly, I do not possess a free edition and yes it IS registered, I confirmed this by re-registering it and Avast sez OK continue. The daily later almost exactly this stupid show up appears again!!. It has not effected my upgrades nor any functionality at all nevertheless it is being a pain needing to just close the show up and overlook it. What within the sam hill is bringing about this to take place AND regularly by wall clock every twenty four hours, no eventually.

I downloaded the final version 7 days ago I hadnt registered yet, what happen when calendar month expire. Does still protect my PC?
Avast is signature based. Which means they have no heuristic scanning within the free version. It has it in e-mail. But what good is when 9 beyond 10 people use net based e-mail? When all you would like to do is scan your machine avast will not likely look for certain behaviors. Thats since it doesnt use heuristics when scanning files in your computer. Without heuristics your computer may be infected and avast will never detect it.
